Under the current service model:

  • sufficient storage space;
  • camera, photo or notification permissions for certain features.

The user is responsible for the cost of their own device and internet connection.

8. Age Requirements and Minors

Independent use of ezy is permitted from the age of 16.

A user under 16 may use the Service only with the appropriate consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

The parent or legal guardian should ensure that the minor:

  • uses the Service in an age-appropriate manner;
  • understands basic privacy and security rules;
  • does not provide unnecessary or third-party personal data;

11. Workout Data and User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the content and execution of their own workout programmes.

ezy provides logging, organisational, calculation and display tools. Statistics, records, estimated performance values and other calculated metrics are not professional or medical advice.

12. Medical and Professional Disclaimer

ezy is not a medical service.

ezy:

  • does not diagnose;
  • does not treat disease;
  • does not provide medical diagnoses;
  • does not replace a physician;
  • does not replace a dietitian;
  • does not replace a physiotherapist;
  • does not replace a personal trainer or another appropriately qualified professional.

Data shown in the application or entered by users, including calories, macronutrients, recipes, foods, exercises, workout plans, performance calculations and estimated metrics, may be inaccurate, incorrect or outdated.

Users should seek appropriate professional advice in case of injury, pain, illness, eating disorders, allergies, intolerances, special dietary requirements or other health concerns.

In an emergency, ezy must not be used as a substitute for emergency services.

13. Food Data and Barcodes

The ezy food database may contain data created by users.

Accordingly, the Service Provider cannot guarantee for every entry:

  • calorie accuracy;
  • macronutrient accuracy;
  • fibre accuracy;
  • barcode accuracy;
  • that the manufacturer's recipe has not changed;
  • that product composition is current.

Where information is health-critical, the manufacturer's label and advice from a qualified professional should be treated as the primary source.

14. User Content

User Content may include:

  • profile images;
  • biography;
  • exercises;
  • workout plans;
  • splits;
  • weekly plans;
  • foods;
  • meals or recipes;
  • support messages;
  • shared content.

Users retain their rights in their own User Content.

By uploading content, the user grants the Service Provider a limited, non-exclusive licence necessary to operate the Service, including storage, backup copying, synchronisation, technical processing, display to the user and sharing requested by the user.

This licence does not permit unlimited commercial exploitation of User Content unrelated to the Service.

15. Public Content and Moderation

Public foods, meals and other shared content may be visible to other users.

Users may only share content that:

  • they own or are lawfully entitled to use;
  • does not infringe another person's rights;
  • is not unlawful;
  • does not unnecessarily contain third-party personal data.

The Service Provider may correct or remove clearly incorrect data, merge duplicate foods or meals, remove unlawful or dangerous content, investigate user reports and restrict sharing features in cases of abuse.

16. Prohibited Use

The following are prohibited:

  • unauthorised access;
  • impersonation;
  • bypassing authentication or authorisation controls;
  • unauthorised acquisition of tokens or sessions;
  • intentional overloading of the Service;
  • unreasonable scraping or automated querying;
  • uploading malware or harmful code;
  • exploiting vulnerabilities to harm other users;
  • harassment;
  • spam or unsolicited advertising;
  • unlawful or abusive content;
  • infringement of intellectual property rights;
  • deliberate distribution of dangerous health misinformation;
  • unauthorised direct access to ezy infrastructure or databases;
  • reverse engineering beyond what mandatory law permits;
  • bypassing security restrictions.

17. Intellectual Property

ezy's own lawfully used elements, including the ezy name, logo, user interface, proprietary graphics, source code, website and documentation, may be protected by intellectual property law.

Users receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service.

Third-party fonts, icons, open-source libraries and other components remain subject to their respective licences.

18. Third-party Services

ezy may rely on third-party services, including:

  • VIPY – VPS and hosting;
  • Cloudflare – DNS, proxy/CDN and network security;
  • Google Play – distribution of the Android application.

Service e-mail is operated on ezy's own VPS infrastructure.

ezy currently does not use a separate external push notification provider.

19. Availability, Maintenance and Outages

The Service Provider aims to maintain reasonable availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The Service may be temporarily limited due to maintenance, updates, network outages, VPS or hosting failures, attacks, security measures, force majeure or failures of third-party services.

20. Changes to Features and Terms

ezy is under active development.

The Service Provider may introduce new features, modify existing features, discontinue defective or unsafe features and change technical architecture.

These Terms may also be updated due to new features, legal changes, security requirements or changes to the service model.

Users will be appropriately informed of material non-urgent changes. Where new acceptance is required, continued use may be made conditional on accepting the updated Terms.

21. Account Suspension and Restrictions

The Service Provider may restrict or suspend an account where, for example, the user materially breaches these Terms, attempts unauthorised access, endangers another user or the infrastructure, repeatedly abuses the API, or where investigation of a security incident requires restriction.

Immediate restriction may be used in serious security or legal cases.

22. Account Deletion and Data Export

Users may request deletion of their account and, where applicable, export of their personal data.

Account deletion is subject to the Privacy Policy, including the up-to-30-day deletion quarantine and backup rotation of up to 90 days.

The minimum data required for legal obligations, security incidents or legal claims may be retained where lawful.

23. Liability

The Service Provider's liability is not excluded or limited where mandatory law prohibits such exclusion or limitation.

These Terms do not exclude:

  • mandatory liability for intentional misconduct;
  • liability relating to life, physical integrity or health where it cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect data entered by the user, incorrect foods or meals created by users, content provided by another user, unsupported devices or systems, internet outages, failures of third-party services, or use of ezy as medical or professional advice.

24. Data Loss

The Service Provider uses backups and technical measures intended to reduce the risk of data loss. Nevertheless, no information system can guarantee complete immunity from data loss.

This clause does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.

25. Privacy

Processing of personal data is governed by the ezy Privacy Policy.

  • Hungarian: /hu/privacy
  • English: /en/privacy

Acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not automatically constitute consent to every possible processing purpose.

26. Complaints and Support

Users may submit technical or service-related complaints through the in-app support system or by e-mail to szekeresbenjamin14@gmail.com.

27. Data Protection Complaints

In Hungary, the competent data protection supervisory authority is:

Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11. Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9. E-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu

28. Consumer Rights

ezy is currently a free digital service provided by a natural person.

Where mandatory Hungarian or EU consumer-protection rules apply to the relationship between the user and the Service Provider, these Terms do not exclude or restrict those rights.

29. Disputes and Governing Law

The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes amicably.

The relationship is primarily governed by Hungarian law, including directly applicable EU law.

This does not deprive a consumer user of mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

30. Document Versions and Registration Declarations

ezy may record:

  • the version of the Terms;
  • its effective date;
  • the time of acceptance;
  • the accepting account;
  • necessary technical evidence.

Registration may include separate unchecked boxes:

  • “I have read and acknowledged the Privacy Policy.”
  • “I accept the Terms of Service.”
